Time Line

May 11, 2012: Stephen and I had confirmation from the Lord to move forward with our adoption.

June 9, 2012: Inquired to see if Sylvester, who we sponsor, is adoptable.

June 15-16, 2012: Garage Sale to raise money to start our adoption.

June 17, 2012: God provided $2750 from the sale!

June 19, 2013: We found out that Sylvester is adoptable! Stephen communicates that we want to be his mommy and daddy!

June 20, 2012: We heard from John in Ghana, giving us the green light.

June 25, 2012: Local fingerprints mailed.

June 28-29, 2012: Second garage sale.

June 30, 2012: God provided $820

July 10, 2012: Home study interview.

August 29, 2012: I-600a Sent.

August 31-September 1, 2012: Third Garage Sale

September 2, 2012: God provided $1000

September 12, 2012: Dossier sent.

September 16, 2012: We find out that we have a daughter, 4 years old!!

September 17, 2012: Our son finds out he has a family waiting for him. 🙂

September 20, 2012: We see a picture of our daughter for the first time.

October 4, 2012: Fingerprints for our I-600a

October 15, 2012: Tickets to Ghana purchased so we can go meet our newest additions!

October 20, 2012: Received our I-600a (I-171H) approval! Praise God!

November 6-16, 2012: Trip to Ghana to meet our children! A M A Z I N G!
